There's nothing wrong with holding out for Mr Right, but it's possible to go too far and never date anyone because they don't match up to an image of the 'perfect guy' that only exists in your head.

Anyway, it sounds as if you've already found someone you like. Why not ask him if he wants to grab a coffee or drink with you. Then you can find out if you really like him.

Subtly ask if he's got a girlfriend.

Best way to do that is bring the convo to a point, where you can say, "Are you meeting your girlfriend later?" Or somethin' more approriate to the convo. If he's got one he'll say yea, or no. If he's not he'll most likely say that he doesn't have one, especially if he likes ya.

He says no ... but really he has, he just wants to shag you cos you look fit that particular night, you end up heartbroken
