Some other vital places, visit the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, especially the island of Skye and the Outer Herbean Islands off the north east coast of Scotland. The beaches here are almost like the caribbean in that they have white sand but have bloody freezing water. You'll be able to do seal and dolphin watching here. Skye has fantastic climbing opportunities whereas Lewis boasts having the oldest standing stones (older than Stonehendge) called the Callanish.

Visit Loch Ness near Inverness to see if you can catch a glimpse of the monster. Whatever you do, dont miss going to visit Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness. Most ppl will be familiar with it being in Highlander the film with Sir Sean "James Bond" Connery.

thank god someone is sticking up for scotland - best part of the uk !!

dont forget Glasgow, but best is the morth west coast - spectacular !!
