Ok, I live in Glasgow...and there is a secuirty guard, who put simply is Venus embodied, she is so pretty its unreal, Im surpised shes a guard and not a model. Safe to say I have a huge crush on her, and what doesnt help is that works round the corner from my university.
I have toyed with the idea of perhaps talking to her, but I am not 100% sure, i dont want her to freak out, get into trouble, or generally be upset. If I did take the plunge, i wouldnt know what to say.
Its also safe to say im not very good with ladies....so could you gimme me any advice?

Of all with the things you could do, dingh Nothing ins't on the menu otherwise you would't be here, right ?
Also she's..if she's under 25 or so, unlikely to be impressed with 'I fancy you" or anything else, is she ?
So your left with being yourself...your probably great witha woman, just maybe try too hard..which is what we all do male or female when were inxexpereinced !
What to do is within you already...

i have known a few security guards around london, albeit they are south africans, and tend to work the daytime shift, for some strange reasons, suffice as to say, i have a crush on them, but at my age shouldnt be the case lol

They say girls like a guy with a bit of a wild side, maybe you should become a 'security issue'. It would definitely have you pop up on her radar, and you would have a chance to chat to her while the police are arriving
16.12.2007, 16:07 quote
you should try a bit of chit chat with her, you know, remark on how cold it is, what you or her are doing at that moment, or something similar but try to inject a bit of humour into it somehow. If you can make her smile or laugh with idle chat then she will remember you and talk want to talk to you.

I would simply walk upto her tell her your name and say that you walk past the building often on your way to Uni and tell her you think she looks like a model not a security guard and can you take her out this weekend.
Simple really worst she can say is sorry no or I have a boyfriend etc etc. Wont kill you but at least one way or the other you will know.
But then I guess Im not known for my subtle ways

I agree with Mighty Gav.
Best way is the straight way. Either that or... I dunno... Give her a rose or smth... Say you saw it and you thought of her and her beauty. That should make her giggle nd blush.
Either that or show ya her baton up close. ![]()

I'm not sure that trying to talk to her will do you any good!
Because you have a crush on her, you'll be so anxious when you try to talk to her, it'll be like trying to talk with cotton wool in your mouth!
Best tip I can give you is don't develop crushes! If you fancy someone, do something about it straight away instead of letting your imagination develop a set of romantic scenarios based on guesswork that totally hamper your judgement when it comes to dealing with the person. You don't want to hear this, but look for someone else mate. If you do manage to shake the crush and think of her as a normal person, then you might be able to talk to her like you would talk to a girl mate. She'd appreciate that more than a trembling nervous wreak trying to say something witty in an unintelligible mumble and with a half-crazed facial expression.
