Hmm, seeing as we finally have a bit of summer sun i can break out the sleeveless tops. However, I need one bit of advice from the ladies first!

Hairy armpits on guys, are they ok? Or should i break out the razors/steal some veet?

Oooh, or maybe i should just trim them into interesting patterns.... Razz

Oh, and before anyone even suggests it i dont wanna hear about any pickup techniques involving ramming random peepss faces into meh pits whilst screaming "Smell my masculinity woman!"

Hairy pits on a guy are just fine, unless of course the hair is out of control, then that could be seen as a major turn off ..

Otherwise you could attract a hair stylist and get her to do something with them lol..french plait!!!

Ha, hairy pits are the least of my 'hair' problems.

Having said that, I don't really regard afore-mentioned body hair as a 'problem', I just don't give a toss anymore. Like it or lump it is my motto.

I have cold light of day thoughts on this now Sad

But still fairly positive....about 2 weeks ago was the first time that I can remember that I walked along a beach with my shirt off, without feeling too self conscious about body hair. Even more surprising that I didn't feel self conscious was that there were mainly women on the beach at that time of day, mostly youngish and attractive, and for some reason it didn't me at all. I think, possibly, that if I had n on my own, I might not have, but I was with my ex's son and we were just ambling along chatting (in fact it was he who pointed out that 'that chick is checking you out' a couple of times, loud enough for them to hear too - 11 year olds, eh?)

I think to some extent views on hairy pits (or hairy anyhting else) sort of boils down to the same thing as tattoo's (discussed elsewhere on the forums, where it was generally agreed that having tattos's was OK if you 'did it for yourself', not to impress other people). I gyess if you apply that principle to other things, like hairy pits, and confident enought to carry it off, it doesn't mater what other people think.

EDIT: However, I do feel that a bit of nasal and ear trimming is a good idea Smile Luckily for most of the guys here it probably isn't an issue yet - it's an age thing. So, my general view is: women can get used to the idea of hairy pits, chest or back, but random and stray hairs poking out of the nose and ears are a big no-no

oo i was wondering about this just last week when i realised i'd never cut back the underarm ever. I noticed that the hair was poking out when my arms were by my side and thought it's probably not a good look as i was going away to the seaside for a few days.

The only scissors i've got are nail scissors so i hacked away my left underarm hair via the mirror, took awhile but got there in the end. Now for the other arm, uh oh, cacky left hand via the mirror not good. Infact, as hard as i tried i couldn't cut a single hair. So i went on holiday with one yetti underarm and the top stayed on despite the glorious weather, ho hum. I could of bought some decent scissors on holiday but i'd look a right tit in the campsite toilet block Rolling Eyes

As my vanity seems to have increased with age, I have bought a pair of round ended nostril hair trimming scissors that do for the other hairy regions too. Just be very careful when cutting testicle hair as the round ends don't protect you from slicing one of those follicle bumps off Crying or Very sad

That's ok Cheeky, I wasn't offended Smile I was just being my usual annoying pedantic self.. It's a problem, I know., but at least I'm aware of it Wink

I wouldn't shave the hair off anyway, just cut it a bit as don't like it sticking out the sides...
