Right...I need some ideas/suggestions if possible! This is mainly for the girlies, but..any suggestions from guys are also welcome!

I have a hairdressers appointment on friday, and..well...I'm thinking it's time for a new hair style/cut as i've had this one for a few years now!

And please...do not..under any circumstances say 'shave your head' Laughing

Seriously though..any suggestions would really be appreciated. I have no idea at all.. Confused

Colour wise...I'd like a change from dying my hair red! Laughing

Hi Laura, as a hairstylist of some years standing might I suggest a textured shorter bob with base colour one of the new chocolate brons with gold and copper highlights running through to accentuate the style. If you go to a good stylist she/he should listen to your needs e.g lifestyle and your own ability to manage the style. Lots of luck. optermist.

I was gonna suggest a short bob as well Laura, something similar to Posh's style. Not sure about colour although what Optermist suggested sounds nice.

I would defo stick with a dark colour Laura, with pale skin like myself dont, think light colours suit it ....... and if you dont want to loose much of the length why not have a fringe put in, i did that a few months ago best thing i did Whatever you decide you will still be gorgeous xx

Thanks for the suggestions, girls

I was kind of thinking a bob..but not sure it'd suit me because of the length. I guess all I can do is ask my stylist.

If I haven't got a general idea by thursday, I'll wait a bit longer and have a look around to see if there's any other styles I can find!

I love the colour idea that you suggested, optermist!

hey hun

i would say a bob too mines quite short and layered in the back but comes down long at the front as i dont suit having a bob very short and i have a sidey fringe too i would also stay dark if i was you maybe a chocolatey brown and then have a flash of colour underneath somewhere on one side ????

im lucky i have a good hair dresser dont be worried to go to a few and ask them what they think then you can just pick the best one! x

Problem is with me...if I dye my hair too dark, I end up looking..well...dead because I'm so pale.

im very pale hun and naturally dark but you would need a colour that has a warmth with it and it will be cool but you cant just go for a flat dark colour as it will make you look sick so darkish with warmth x

Hi Laura...or why not go blonde blonde, get major extensions put in and just get a weekly full body spray tan as it will sort out the whitey issue??
