I've moved from Aberdeen to Glasgow, and have left my friends behind, I'm in a college class but the majority of folk there are very annoying, any tips on how to meet new people?

thats really hard when you go to study away from your friends.. I did the same also went to Glasgow..and I found that a good way to meet people and make friends is to get a part time job, join one of the clubs at uni or do a bit of volunteering..the main thing is to get out there, keep socialising and eventually you will meet friends that you really ge on with

Have to agree with Lovelee. The most important thing is to keep socialising.
Maybe consider getting a bar job? Gets you out of the house every night, you'll have work colleagues and you'll meet a lot of people. Also, you get paid!

here mate I did the exact same, I moved from Aberdeen to Glasgow and found it hard at first but I had a bit of an advantage as my profile obviosly states I skate lol and that helped I just went to the nearest skatepark each day and just started speaking to people and now some of them are my best mates, so I guess what I'm saying is just find something you like doing or as those to say ^ get a job and just start speaking to people.

peace
