How many of you can say you have at least 3 best friends?
How many of you think you had close friends and really turn out to be just acquaintances? How many of you thought u had friends that cared and realized they never did?.....You will be surprised if you think about it.... I have found out by just leaving here...how many people cared about me that i thot did...Worked in places for years, found out how many people cared after i left...left my poker site a couple of times, found out who really cared.....Dont kid yourself on who is your friend and not just another ship in the nite

aww looks like you've had more hard times aluria. I agree though i have very few friends i don't trust people too well i tend to keep most as aquaintances

i have got three best friends. one of them is my mother. i love her to bits and would be lost without her.

faith... you know you're missed here hun... and you know who by too.

Yarr, as far as "best" friends go, i have 2, i've known them both for over 10 years and see them regularly still.

I never had many friends...

if you had too many best friends you would have no time to spend with them all and they would all end up just aquaintences. lol

my two best mates, laura and tara, i've known them since i was a baby..... and we've always hung around together. laura fell pregnant with her son when tiffany was a few months old... and tara has just recently had a baby. i still see them a few times a week and go out with them at the wkends. and i usually ring one or both of them every night for a chat for an hour or so.

as i said in another post.... it's nice to have someone to say goodnight to lol

I have 4 best friends ... Deborah i've been friends with since nursery so 32 years ..Karen since high school so 23 years ... Isobel for 20 years and Elaine 8 years - I also have a lot of other good friends (which i wouldnt call aquantances ) Friends are very important to me

As you get older, you get let down by these so called friends. Now since my dad died, I have loads of mates, but no real friends.

Wow..What can I say, I have just a couple of dear friends also and I hope to make new ones here, but the way you put it maybe there is alot of two face people here..that would be a shame

Well I have read a few posts and am not sure. I do see alot of people that are hostile already, I was told several months back this was a very good site but never had the courage to come and try it---has things changed in the last 4 or 5 months....I am a little sensitive but will go off if someone gets in my face, maybe this is not the place to be for me...I will give it a few days and keep reading posts
