How do you see your death? Or do you even think about it? Do you think you will go north ( Heaven ) or South ( Very hot and loads of pain ). Either way, what makes you think you are going one way or the other?

You're assuming that there'll be one or the other waiting for you, which I don't think is the case.

Heaven and hell are human creations to give people hope and keep them in line.

Ooh, maybe getting a bit deep there! lol

In asnwer to your question I'd hope I'd be going to he good half, as I'm a nice guy who tries to help people, and thinks about how others feel, but generally only if they deserve it!

Although I did have a theory once that it was all a trick cause no-one could live their life and not manage to break at least one of the 1- commandments, so everyone would go to hell!! lol

Here's what I think will happen:

I'll die. I'll either be buried, or cremated. No heaven, no hell.

The end.

It's easy to argue against that, cause if I'm right, you'll be proved wrong. If you're right, I won't know!! lol

If that was the case though, what about past lives?

As Kevin Spacey said in Usual Suspects - "Keaton always said - I don't believe in God, but I'm afraid of him." lol

I don't think there is a heaven and hell like religion would lead us to believe, but there could still be a differentiation between people who were good or bad in their life, whether it be reincarnation as something better or worse, or some kind of punishment, prevention from reincarnating, or whatever.

I don't believe in the past life.

Or any of the re-incarnation crap.

That's ok then, we're not calling other people's beliefs "crap" are we now, Laura? Rolling Eyes

Wouldn't want to set a bad example or anything, right?

Ah, there's the rub. It's about what you believe. It;s about what makes you happy. You can't force your befiefs on anyone. If you believe it and it makes you HAPPY , then why worry about anyone else.
You have no great insight. No message to pass on. Happiness is found within.

You can't force your beliefs on people, but you can provide evidence to show someone they might be wrong. Someone is right, someone is wrong, we just don't know who.

I'm a logical person, so given the weight of evidence for there being *something* after death, then I'm willing to believe it.
