Help! How can I get gloss paint out of my hair?

I just went to the hairdresser, so dont want to go cutting gert clumps out, but it didnt come off with shampoo.

As I didnt want to use up a whole thread JUST for gloss-out-of-hair advice, has anybody got any good nuggets of advice about other things as well?

Most paint is water based these days so it should just wash out with a few go's. Don't panic. At least everyone will know you were busy this wkend. Very Happy

Can't you just use white spirit to get it out?

(I don't think it will do any harm will it?)

DISCLAIMER: Note the use of the word THINK in the above statement.

Gloss paint is oil based, get someone trustworthy to use something like washing up liquid on it and it WILL come out. i know this, because my bro and i painted his flat the other week - we used rollers for glossing and we were both covered in it Laughing

Fairy washing up liquid is the gloss gettin daddy Laughing
