...
I was gonna make some derogatory comment about soap opera addicts, but I'll stay my tongue.... and perhaps suggest you seek help for your addiction?

I don't want to meet people in clubs or pubs as I am usually drunk and more interested in dancing and singing than trying to look approachable.

I have never been hit on anywhere else in my life. How rubbish is that? See why I have lost my interest. Even online I got bored of illiterate idiots and a**eholes sending me messages.

Just once in my life I would love to be hit on in the shop, or the leisure centre etc. Probably get well embarrassed and make a complete tit of myself but it would just be nice to know it happened. Sort of feel like a crap woman to never have had enough of an effect on a man to cause him to try.

On holiday - this is the best way to meet new people.

People are more relaxed in their holidays and if the weather is good, people are in a better mood, too.

Music festivals are also a good way to meet new people.....e.h. Reading, Glastonbury etc....or Rockskilde, Sziget, Rock im Park (this Thursday in Nürnberg) .....

If you go to the Burning Man Festival, it might be unlikely not to meet anyone

Bams have you any idea how hard it is for a bloke to approach a woman in a shop etc? I've only ever tried properly a handfull of times - even making eye contact with a smile is dangerous if your doing it deliberately and thinking about it - I get all embarrassed and would be afraid of make a complete tit of myself - now where have I just heard that?. I bet there are tonnes of blokes who check you out but don't have the guts to approach you. I know I'd be one of them...

and here's another thought - how observant are you? how many times do you think someone may have tried but you didn't notice? How many did try but got a kb for some reason and you don't count as a hit?

And where you you shop again? I feel some very dodgy lines comming on Wink

Anyone who fancies coming to the Kaliedoscope festival (free one day music and dance thing in a big country park - a bit lame but good if the weather is nice) for a meet is fine by me. In fact it'd be ideal FB meet fodder...no pressure, lots of stuff to do, beer tents etc. - 14th July.

It's not something I can do, as I'm busy catching up with some old friends then, but why not put that in the meet area of the forums and see if there's any takers ? It's in danger of getting missed in this thread.

Good advice Dave...I shall go and look for the previous thread I started and revive it.
Oh and although you can't make it you would be welcome, as long as you don't get your top off (yes i've seen the pic on the other thread) Smile

Oh my god, I am so not in the habit of taking my top off, trust me. I just dared a girl in that thread to say what she'd want blokes to do and, having done that, tried to get others to do what she was after by trying to start off other people doing it ... which actually seems to have killed the thread instead.

I thought you said somewhere you like the fuller figure man ... I'm a loose collection of twigs hahaha!

I didn't get your application form, by the way, so I guess you weren't interested in that job.
