I feel uneasy about having my picture up, not sure why..and I did resent some people were accusing me of maybe being untrustworthy and dishonest because I didn't have one up. I haven't got anything to hide and I don't lie about my appearance.

Wasn't only you Karen, quite a few people have said it. I wouldn't mind it if I was hitting on people, but I don't think I ever did that I can remember. I'm not really interested in travelling more then 10 miles for a date. Not saying that wont change if there was someone that I was really attracted to, and I would for a special reason. I am quite happy if certain people don't want to converse with me, and there are certain people I don't reply to unless they reply to me first.

You didn't upset me, I don't get upset about things on the net. But what you said is typical of the way some, if not most on here think. As I said before most message boards don't have photo's up, but on here some people think it is cheating if you don't put one up. I quickly realised that I doubt I was going to meet anyone from here because of the distances involved and there isn't anyone local to me that's available. But I like it on the messageboard.

There's plenty of women locally to me to be honest Karen, I have loads of mates and I make mates very easily, when I lose a few pounds I'll be going out pubbing and clubbing. I mainly joined this site, and a few others I haven't bothered with, out of curiosity. But you never know what's going to happen.
