If you want to be happy don't give a **** for anyone else's opinions, any relationship is a risk. But without risks what do you gain? If it feels right then do it.
If it don't feel right then wait until it does!

i dont feel age is a problem if its love, and if both people are comfortable with it. age doesnt make someone less mature if they are young neither most mature if they are older, it all depends on what the person is truly like and if both people have good personalities and like each oters company then why not! as they say love is special and comes around once and u dont seem to find it again for a long time. xx

i agree to an extent with previous comments regarding age doesn't matter as long as both parties are comfortable BUT also as long it's not a child protection issue or if one person isn't taking advantage of their postion as a 'trusted' person such as a teacher

my ex is 45 and it was almost perfect because we have the same views on things. it broke because she overworried about her insecurities and isnt the sort to talk about them. the age difference certainly contributed to the problem but how one deals/talks with/about things or doesnt (in her case) is ultimately nothing to do with age.

I was chatting to a teenager the other day and she told me that she had been going out with her boyfriend for 8 months and that he was 27 years older than her. She said they had been the happiest years of her life.

I was dating a lady of 43 when I was 22 and that was one the best relationships I ever had, we are still in touch now and are good friends. We got on well because we had the same outlook on life and didnt care what people thought of us. Although initially I was a little shy...

I dont mind the age gap thing, as long we get on thats all that counts. I'm not an average 24 year old, my way of thinking and my personality generally leads me to get on with older people...

The thing about age gaps is that they are acceptable if both people understand each other. For example, my parents are 16 1/2 years apart. Their problems stem from the fact that they didn't consider the other person fully when they got married. But if the person your with is compatible, then go for it. Just keep in mind that sometimes a partner from another generation may have a different outlook or different values. But then again, so could the person sitting next to you on the bus.
