new on the block, put my profile on site 2wks ago, have had very good response from age groups 18-45. lovely and very flattering but I am 63 looking for males 58-68 so far nothing.WHERE ARE THEY? Could it be that the young men like the older lady and the older men like the younger women. PLEASE does anyone knopw the answer.

Hello optermist, and welcome to the forums.
I don't think there is a simple answer to your question. Everybody wants different things, and to generalise a broad group of people is pretty much impossible.
Hang in there and I'm sure somebody will come along though ![]()

Some of the feedback I've seen here is that these younger guys "desire" a older lady purely for "fun" and nothing more so I would be wary of that...
By the way welcome to the forums

Though I cannot help you in your young years, I do wish I could. The companionship you seek will come your way, please rest assured. I hope some of the longer members here can be of of more service to you.
Have you tried this?

so what's happened in the 45-58 age group?
Dating *is* ultimately a numbers game and you can't rely on finding the right person in a small selection. If your target field is potentially small, being on more (free) dating sites will enlarge it.

I don't get messages that often, but when I do more often than not it's older women.. 45 - 50 age range.

Another suggestion, have a look at who is on line and if they're the age you're looking for check out their profile, then you can message them about something interesting or attractive that they've mentioned and they'll be so pleased to have a message that they didn't have to initiate.
I've got some good friends this way.

The whose on line thing is a good idea to get a response from someone but I am quickly getting board by messaging people using similer message titles.
I have also found some really indifferent people on this site which puts me off messaging even more.

I rarely get older woman sending me messages either. (or at least none that admit they are older online)
From my point of view my pension is maximised in terms of its potential value, if I date women 10 years younger than me.
Whereas, your pension is transferred to your spouse. Therefore, it is maximised by examining the age restrictions (and deductions) in your pension scheme annuity. (or assets)
It is a morbid issue, but it is one which has much relevance in dating and age issues. "Gigilos" are named as such as they go after older women in order to asset strip.
My pension is transferred for the purpose of making a family (in normal circumstances). Not many females over the age of 60 are in the family producing business! Therefore, I would suspect that your assets are going to your next of kin!
